BLCO Announces $37 Million Recapitalization

Fort Capital Partners is pleased to announce that BLCO Enterprises Ltd. (“BLCO” or the “Company”) has completed a $37 million recapitalization transaction.

BLCO and its affiliated companies own and operate 28 KFC, Taco Bell and A&W franchised restaurants in Alberta, British Columbia and Montana, and is recognized as a leading operator within the YUM brand franchise system. The Company is led by founder Don Lloyd and daughter Rachel Lloyd and was formed in 1996 to purchase and operate three KFC stores in Barrhead, Westlock and Slave Lake, Alberta. Since then, BLCO has been an active consolidator and developer of YUM brand franchises to grow the portfolio to its current size. BLCO entered the U.S. market in 2012 and now operates six stores in the state of Montana.

This recapitalization transaction recognizes BLCO’s success over the last twenty years and strongly positions the company for future growth opportunities.
