Fort Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Tamwood International College Ltd. and Tamwood Careers Ltd. (collectively “Tamwood”) have been acquired by ILAC, a portfolio company of ONCAP.
Founded in 1992, by owners Tamsin Plaxton and Mathew Collingwood, Tamwood runs three divisions and manages a sister company that together offers a range of educational, vacation, work, and travel programs, and other services and support to ensure its students learn new skills. ST Star Awards and agents all around the world have voted Tamwood the best ESL school in North America, Best Vocational College, Best Junior Course for Under 18s for several years running.
The partnership brings together two of the best brands in the industry, giving students and agents more quality choices than ever before. ILAC will continue to build upon the strong Tamwood brand as they look for opportunities to accelerate growth utilizing ILAC’s and Tamwood’s combined sales, marketing and operational resources.
