Fort Capital Partners is pleased to announce that hungerhub Canada Inc. has been acquired by Hungry Marketplace Inc. in a cross-border transaction.

Founded in 2018 by Sari Abdo and Faisal Kanji, hungerhub is Canada’s leading workplace meal delivery platform, connecting offices with a curated network of local restaurants through a technology-enabled ordering experience. Headquartered in Toronto, hungerhub has grown through bootstrapped discipline and exceptional operational execution to serve a broad base of corporate clients in over 10 cities across Canada.

Hungry is a workplace food platform serving more than 1,000 corporate clients across the United States. Hungry provides a comprehensive, chef-centric platform for catering, group orders, live events, pantry, and micro-market solutions for enterprise workplaces, and has served over 7 million meals across 24 U.S. cities.

The acquisition of hungerhub expands Hungry’s geographic reach into Canada, strengthens its technology infrastructure and restaurant partnerships, and positions the combined company among the largest workplace food platforms in North America with combined annual revenue exceeding $110 million.
